Friday night my partner chose the Lamb Shank and I had a Porterhouse with vegetables. The steak was beautifully cooked. I requested it blue and it was perfect.
I had chosen the whisky cream peppercorn sauce (I don’t think I have the name quite right but it definitely had whisky cream in it). No sign or taste of whisky. No creamy sauce. Loads of peppercorns on top. Maybe the description in the menu needs adjusting to what is being presented?
The lamb shank was really good. But the two beans on the side were a tad
lonely.
The service as usual was excellent!
