What a great experience for breakfast! I last ate here over a year ago. Then I thought it was awful. I ordered a poached egg on toast with bacon. And specifically asked for the toast to be buttered. The egg was stone cold when it arrived – sitting on the middle of cold dry toast. No bacon, no butter. This was accompanied by a bitter cappuccino.
Same owners but they must have different staff because how different was it this week! Smiling staff. Great coffee. And I ordered the ‘morning harvest’ breakfast from the specials. This was a saute of broccoli/green beans/snow peas on a bed of grilled Haloumi and pesto with one poached egg with a honey mustard dressing. Presentation was wonderful (photo next time I promise) and I really enjoyed the flavor.
